Anyone know anything about it? Just got a copy. Looks like a wait-till-Todd-gets-here kinda movie...

You got a copy? From Rotton Cotton? That's awesome.

Yep, have you seen it? Apparently the guy who runs RC produced it...

I also got the soundtrack which, from the song titles, looks to be nuts.

I have it, and haven't watched it yet. Yeah that sounds like a good one to watch Saturday. We should plan our movie bill so we don't waste anytime asking me what I want to watch because you know what I'll say.

I read the liner notes on the can yesterday.

Do you feel the movie is of the same caliber as what left your body in said can?

This movie always struck me as "trying too hard." Probably why I hate Family Guy, too.
Gimme the shitty, weird original any day.

So you've seen it then?

The liner's were actually pretty funny. They're written in 'faux-film scholar' style and they made me laugh.

This was posted on Massacre video facebook page today:

In amidst of all of the madness that happened during 2012 and early this year, everything is back to running semi normal! With that I would like to thank everyone for being patient and overall awesome! Orders are starting to arrive and my inbox/email has been blown up with people who absolutely love the product! The rest should be arriving soon :)! Massacre Video has one man behind it assembling all releases and packing, so hours and hours of hard work go into this! I do it so people can have some primo releases on their shelves!

Now for some fantastic news, the other day I met up with the legendary director Chester N. Turner! We spent a good amount of the day together discussing a DVD for both films and shortly after signed the contracts! So here I am elated to announce that in October of 2013 Massacre Video will be releasing both "Black Devil Doll from Hell" and "Tales from the Quadead Zone" on DVD/VHS! Both films will have tons of extras, this will be a rare and insightful look into the making of two of the most bizarre independent films the world has to offer! Pictured below could possibly be the first look at Mr. Turner...he is signing a limited edition of "50" 12x18 posters for this release! These will be for sale shortly and will ship same to next day(trying to void that slow shipping reputation).

Apparently Chester Turner is alive an well!

Is it the real Chester N. Turner? I read he died in a car crash in the 90's. Then an imposter started a Myspace page around the mid 2000's and was found out.

And yeah, that was basically my problem with it. I really dislike films that intentionally try to be bad like a Robert Rodriguez flick. I hate wink and nod bullshit.

Consider me a fan of "trying too hard" films. Especially Robert Rodriguez flicks. I enjoyed BLACK DEVIL DOLL and would be down for a sequel.
