It's probably because I just recently watched (and LOVED!) The Glory Stompers and when I watch (and LOVE) somethign from a specific genre it puts me into a sort of phase where I quickly overdose on it but today I've been thinking a lot about Biker movies.

Granted, a lot of them suck, but there are some doozies in and amongst the Easy Rider knock offs, the aforementioned Glory Stompers being one of them.

I'm also a fan of Hell's Angels 69 and Satan's Sadists - two trashy crappy movies that for some reason I have a thing for. I figure Northville Cemetery Massacre counts and whoever doesn't drop their jaw at least half way to the floor during the end of that one the first time they see it ought to have their pulse checked. So violent, so rad.

The Aussies gave us Stone, which I know has its detractors but which I happen to really enjoy.

There are even some XXX roughies that cash in on the biker craze, like Revenge On A Motorcycle Mama.

So jump in - like'em? Love'em? Don't care less?

I like some of the biker stuff. Aside from some of what you listed, Pink Angels and She-Devils On Wheels jump to my mind, as does The Black Six. 70s football players on motorcycles fighting a white bike gang. It's good. There's one I can't remember the name of where a biker gang gets involved with some satanic cult. I remember lots of nudity, but not much else.

C.C. and Company too. Haven't seen it since I was maybe 12 years old though. Loved that movie when I was a young'un.

Those are good choices. Pink Angels was a little too overdone I think, but I'm glad to own it for whatever reason. Pataki. That's probably the reason now that I think about it. I love that guy. Michael, not the governor.

I just like telling people about the movie. I make it out to be way better than it is, but I tend to do that with things I dig.

THE PEACE KILLERS is a winner, ANGELS FROM HELL (with Fred Cole and the Lollipop Shoppe!) is one I'm dying to see again.

Totally agree about SATAN'S SADISTS. Great movie.

Here are some that I own, and really enjoy:

Wasn't the Satanic Cult movie Werewolves on Wheels? I liked that one a fair bit.

Yes! that's it. I probably have it somewhere in my spools of DVD-Rs and just don't remember. I'm going to look. I want to see it again.

I haven't watched The Glory Stompers in about 8 years, but I remember thinking it was pretty violent! Earlier this year I finally got around to watching The Pink Angels. I had high expectations, but I was pretty much let down. It just kinda meanders around. Some I like-

Run Angel Run
Chrome & Hot Leather
Hells Belles (have the lp too, one of the best 60s fuzz guitar albums with huge drums)
CC And Company
Werewolves On Wheels
The Last Riders (a 'PM' movie with Erik Estrada & William Smith)

Glory Stompers is pretty violent, but not excessively so. The finale ramps things up a bit though. I like Pink Angels but you're right, it does meander and I think it puts novelty over plot development.

Henstooth has got Hell's Angels On Wheels slated for Blu-ray 9/3/13. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D6LCSH8/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00D6LCSH8&linkCode=as2&tag=cognitrespon-20)

This is a genre I've yet to really delve into, but been reading up on some of these films lately and this might have to change. Shame that Shriek show "Bikers From Hell' triple feature is OOP; seems like a decent place to start.
