Father of Axel Braun (the maker of a lot of the really recent-n-decent porn spoofs), Lasse Braun is a pornographer that is really worth getting into. Shit, the guy was responsible for laying the paper groundwork for getting pornography legalized in Denmark (the first country to do so)! Here, check out his wiki page:

Anyway, I recently got the Alpha France 3 disc set of his major films and shorts (Thanks David!), and it is really something. Ignore the really aesthetically unpleasing layout on the dvd cover, this shit is ON TIME.

Just watched SENSATIONS last night, and it is aptly titled. It was a sensation! What a gorgeous porn film, and the transfer Alpha France put together here is strictly pro and lovingly restored. Pretty hyped about diving into BODY LOVE next, as I've been absolutely addicted to the proggy soundtrack cds that Klaus Shultze did. They have been on serious heavy rotation in the Bougie household for many months now.

Aw crap, dude I've been doing so much dvd trading lately that I have you all mixed up. My apologies.

I bought this and a few other rad Alpha France discs before Xploited went under. It's a diggity dope set - and I don't mind the cover art, even if it is goofy.

There are some awesome Lasse Braun loops on the ABA History of Rape collection too.

Is there a lot of peeing in these?

Is there a lot of peeing in these?

Nope, mostly just raping.

Sensations has a little bit of pee. It also has an amazing creepy dude with a hook for a hand, and he's all weird around girls. So one of the lead girls, sensing his awkwardness, approaches him and sticks his hook into her puss. Then she takes it out, pushes it up to his nose and whispers "You'll never forget my smell" and walks away.

Brilliance.

It's called Krautrock. It's better nerd rock than that plain prog shit.

I know.

I know.

But Marvel censored you. Likely story.

It's true. I was playing some Tangerine Dream and some Amon Duul out of my asscrack, and Marvel drew a robe overtop of it. LET MY ASS CHEEKS PLAY!

Okay, okay. I'd just hate to see the kids who sneak in here get corrupted into listening to the wrong genre of music.

Progrock and Krautrock are directly related, and feature a massive amount of crossover. I think some would even say that Kraut is a sub genre of prog, so really we're just talking about semantics. It's not like I accidentally labeled it as lounge jazz or something.

Yes, but to point a kid to Rush when they need CAN is a cruel, cruel thing.

Watched Sensations last night, great movie. Maier is really cool in it and the whole cast, save for the creepy old guy in the final group scene, are really into it. It's also really, really well shot and just a cool, slick, stylish and very creative film. Alpha France's English friendly DVD looks very good too, even if it isn't anamorphic.
