Amazon has the following up for pre-order:

The Virgin Witch (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006P5KDJW/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=cognitrespon-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B006P5KDJW) which is sexy and sleazy and Satan-y and rad.

Killer's Moon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006P5KD6A/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=cognitrespon-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B006P5KD6A), which I really like.

and for some reason Hills Have Eyes 2 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006P5KEYQ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=cognitrespon-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B006P5KEYQ) (the original) - which Image used to have, right? I don't remember. Either way, Amazon says Redemption for the label, could be a mistake.

No cover art, no specs, no details outside of the fact that they're supposedly coming in March.

Wrong thread, Ian. This isn't the "DVDs I Never Want to Own" thread...

Ian Jane

Ha, I know it's bad, but I do want to own it on Blu-ray for some reason.

BLU-RAY.COM (http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=8128): Kino Video and the Redemption label have revealed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray Jack Cardiff's Girl on a Motorcycle (http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Girl-on-a-Motorcycle-Blu-ray/37712/) (1968), starring Alain Delon and Marianne Faithfull, Peter Newbrook's The Asphyx (http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Asphyx-Blu-ray/37713/) (1973), starring Robert Powell, Robert Stephens and Jane Lapotaire, and Chris Boger's Justine (http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Justine-Blu-ray/37714/) (1977), starring Koo Stark and Martin Potter.

The preliminary release date for The Asphyx is April 17th, while Girl on a Motorcycle andJustine are expected to street on April 24th. Exact technical specs, region coding status, and supplemental features to be included with these releases are unknown at the moment.

Me too! This one is exciting!

Kino stated on FB that The Asphyx will include both the theatrical and uncut versions of the movie.

IMDB says:

The film was originally shot in Todd-AO 35, a wide-screen process which is normally viewed at 2.35:1. The 1995 UK video featured a much shorter print and missed around 12 minutes of footage including dialogue scenes, an anti-hanging protest before the execution, and the removal of a scene showing the now-immortalized guinea pig being released from its cage. The 2004 Anchor Bay UK DVD features the same print and is presented in an anamorphic 1.85:1 ratio and also uses a pan & scan technique, thus cropping much of the print into a false version of wide-screen. The 2010 Odeon DVD features both the shorter and longer original prints in genuine widescreen.

Amazon has both the DVD and the blu-ray up on Amazon, but last I checked they were both on ALERT ME status.

I would also like to see THE ASS FIX. That's the Alexis Texas movie where she plays a mechanic, right?

No, she plays a plumber.

Interesting to see they've kept the Jezebel line for Girl On A Motorcycle - maybe we'll see more of the 'sexy stuff' come out this way?

They put this out on twitter earlier today:

"To be announced soon 2 more surprise titles for Blu-ray, a Franco and a Rollin, & neither a film you would expect..."

Has this listing been on Amazon forever and they just keep pushing the street date back, or is it new?

I noticed that just the other day! I'm honestly not sure, but I think it's a re-activated listing, perhaps it's finally coming. Sure would be nice if Redemption got back on the ball.

I hope it's true, but june 21, 2018 seems like a we-don't-know-when-it's-ready-or-if-it-ever-will come-out placeholder release date. the other title I always secretly hope for is frankenstein's castle of freaks!
