Possibly the manliest picture ever taken. I'm amazed the camera didn't explode.

The new film, “Maximum Conviction,” pairs two great action superstars from diverse backgrounds who bring together action star-power not seen before in an all-action buddy film!

IMDB Summary:

"When former black ops operative Tom Steele (Seagal) and his partner Manning (Austin) are assigned to decommission an old prison, they must oversee the arrival of two mysterious female prisoners. Before long, an elite force of mercenaries assault the prison in search of the new arrivals. As the true identities of the women are revealed, Steele realizes he's caught in the middle of something far bigger than he had imagined."

Ha. Seagal is a Steeley Bro!

Sweet. Interesting pairing, as SCSA seems poised to be a contender to Seagal's DTV crown in the last few years. Seagal mark that I am, I'll have to see this when it's released.

Haha. I was hoping we'd get a Segal commentary - has he ever done one? I don't think he has...

You'd probably need subtitles as he would mumble his way through the commentry!!!!

Also, he cant even show up for the whole FILMING of the actual movie...do you think they could hold him in a chair for 90mins to recod the commentry??

You're right on both counts, but it'd still be cool in a fan boy sort of way.

Is Seagal still in the habit of having his lines dubbed by someone who doesn't sound vaguely like him?

Remember the Seagal-Vinnie Jones team-up fest SUBMERGED? ('Do you think I'm here to play fucking chess?' was my favourite line in that movie, delivered with customary aplomb by Mr Jones.)

Speaking of Vinnie Jones, this had me in hysterics when it appeared on UK television. Non-UK forum members probably haven't seen it before:

Btw, love the title of the TRUE JUSTICE movie that's incoming at the end of the year:

VIOLENCE OF ACTION. Think about it: VIOLENCE ... of ... ACTION. Trips off the tongue, doesn't it?

That's a classic Seagal title, right there :D

WTF....? Violence Of Action?

It's like the cinematic equivalent of Killed By Death!

BEST TITLE EVER!

It's awesome combat jargon, a principle of assault, and I think part of Delta Force's motto:

So many great titles there: I'm looking forward to FATAL FUNNEL, which could be Seagal's nod to WATER POWER.
