Inception Media Group & Smithsonian Channel™ Proudly Present Titanoboa: Monster Snake

Bigger. Badder. Boa.

Smithsonian Channel Documentary Slithers Onto Blu-ray & DVD April 3rd

LOS ANGELES — April 1, 2012 — For Immediate Release — Get wrapped up in the wonder, mystery and danger that is Titanoboa: Monster Snake, slithering onto Blu-ray and DVD April 3 from Inception Media Group.

Meet Titanoboa: She’s longer than a bus, eats crocodiles for breakfast and makes the anaconda look like a garter snake.
Scientists believe that 60 million years ago, in the mysterious era after the mass extinction of the dinosaurs, a colossal snake related to modern boa constrictors ruled a lost world. With exclusive access to what one scientist called “a once-in-a-lifetime discovery,” Smithsonian Channel tells this extraordinary true story in Titanoboa: Monster Snake.

Follow scientists to the mines, into the labs and on an expedition that delves into the discovery, reconstruction and implications of this enormous reptile. How did it live? What did it eat? And how did it grow this big?

Travel back to a time just after dinosaurs were wiped from existence and come face-to-face with this enormous serpent in all its slithering glory.
Titanoboa: Monster Snake is presented in widescreen with an aspect ratio of 1.77:1 (DVD) or 1.78:1 (Blu-ray) and 5.1 digital sound.

Sad thing is I don't think I get the Smithsonian Channel. This blows heavily.

Might see if I can get a review copy. Just checked, no, I don't get the channel. Wonder if this'll make the SyFy channel make another giant snake movie with the title, TITANOBOA? Sounds like a SyFy channel title, too.

Syfy? I doubt it, it's a documentary.

I know it's a doc, still wouldn't stop SyFy from using it as a jumping off point for some crummy movie.
