To be honest, was expecting MAD FOXES level of offense, and outrageousness,,,,,,,but alas it was not meant to be...and the chance was wasted............

You should check out Son of Hitler with Peter Cushing.

It's not very good either.

SON OF HITLER was a comedy though right?......and at least they TRIED...

EL CLON DE HITLER had so many opportunities for offensiveness / exploitation and plain old WTF moments ...and managed to ignore them all!!

Missed opportunity for greatness

Son was a comedy, yes, though I don't remember it being very funny.

But...why bother making a movie about a clone of Hitler...and then ignore the possibilities for offensiveness that gives you.....

It's certainly puzzling. Maybe they figured the title alone would be controversial enough to get people to want to see it?

It definitely sets the bar pretty high...

Now, if they had named it WILD FOXES 2: Clone of Hitler THAT would have set the bar up high in the stratosphere!!!

Would he have had disappearing swastikas all over the place?

Naturally........and his mustache would probably disappear all over the place too...especially on bits filmed outside!!

The discussion on this movie reminds me of an old Mr. Show sketch. Advances in cloning techniques allow the mass production of human clones, so someone has the bright idea to make millions of clones of Hitler so that every Jewish person in the world can have their very own Hitler as a servant. Cue scenes of Hitlers mowing the lawn, cooking dinner, washing cars, having tea parties with little girls...

I remember that. That show was great.
