Intrada has released Stelvio Cipriani's score for THE BOUNTY KILLER (1967), an above average spaghetti western directed by Eugenio Martín (HORROR EXPRESS). The score is brief, only 9 tracks, but Intrada has supplemented it with another dozen cues. The score is an eloquent beauty and one of Cipriani's finest:

Priced at $30 plus postage.

Too bad it's not expanded any - the old CAM cd has the same number of tracks. I guess that's all the existing music for it. I'd actually recommend the CAM cd over this new release, as it also has Cipriani's killer score for THE STRANGER RETURNS, I think this is just a tad batter than THE BOUNTY KILLER. This also has the score for NEVADA by Cipriani so a grand total of 27 tracks in all for the 3 films.

The Intrada does supplement the 9 tracks with a dozen more from the film.

Have you got a link to the CAM CD, Andrew?

Edit -- isn't there a new CD release of an expanded THE STRANGER RETURNS score?

It's out of stock at Amazon and a couple others I checked. It may be out-of-print. CAM's site (http://www.camoriginalsoundtracks.com/) is under construction now but if it gets back up, they are reliable to order from if it's still available. Interesting to learn the Intrada does have bonus tracks, I'm tempted but that's rather steep for a double dip.

Note the original 12 tracks plus 10 bonus tracks.

Yeah, they're pricey.
