El Caminante...that's a great one. Might be my favorite Naschy film I've seen, actually.

I would have said Dr Jekyll and His Women but after reading the other thread I might have to cast my for El Vampiro Y El Sexo.

I'd also add Jose Larraz's "Symptoms"

Why pick only one? You can put both on your list, Dom D or as many as you can think of.

Ah well in that case I'll also take Giallo A Venezia, Symptoms, Trans Europa Express and the Lenzi-Baker gialli that haven't been released yet. Oh and actually my absolute number 1 is Maniac though I suspect we'll never see a release of that in any format.

Or is it Mania? I mean the Polselli flick.

Yes! Just the kind of suggestion I was looking for.

Actually, Larraz made other genre films that have dropped off the radar I'd like to see.

If you can think of anymore, post them.

Richard W,

Windows already has an official release, through MGM's Limited Edition Collection. It's a DVD-R, but the quality is nice. I purchased it when MGM had their sale, and most of their LE Collection was $10.99.

So far, from the titles I purchased during that sale (My first MGM DVD-Rs), there isn't anything bad I can say about the trasnfers.

Begotten have been released on DVD (even if OOP) and Vampires' Night Orgy has multiple releases even if the ones in the states seems to be of public domain character, I think the OOP(?) one from Pagan Films is they way to go, some one else might have a clue.

Vampire's Night Orgy seems to have a newer release in the U.K as well from HB Films (I got no experience with them at all so don't know how the quality tends to be on their stuff).

Some good choices so far.

I'd like good copies of Gone With The Pope & Massacre Mafia Style!

I would third SYMPTOMS and toss in these from him too:

SCREAM AND DIE
WHIRLPOOL
DEVIATION

A boxset would be ideal, with that documentary as an extra.

I'd like to see DEATH OCCURRED LAST NIGHT on BD, or even just a subbed dvd. It's one of the best gialli not available in an english-friendly, legit version (there is a nice fansub though). There are lots of Italian crime films still not out too.

A few Spanish horror films that need english releases:

THE CORRUPTION OF CHRIS MILLER
NO ONE HEARD THE SCREAM
GLASS CEILING
THAT HOUSE ON THE OUTSKIRTS

I'll also vote for Symptoms, Scream And Die, World Of The Vampires, Blood And Roses plus:

SECRET OF THE BLUE ROOM
THE NYLON NOOSE
HOWLING IN THE WOODS
CURSE OF NOSTRADAMUS/MONSTER DEMOLISHER/GENII OF DARKNESS/BLOOD OF NOSTRADAMUS
SCREAMS OF A WINTER NIGHT
THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN
OPEN SEASON (May be a stretch for horror)

IIRC, the recent rerelease of THE VAMPIRE'S NIGHT ORGY is identical to the OOP Pagan disc.

If you're taking votes for TV movies, can I add A COLD NIGHT'S DEATH? I've seen that film once, 20 or more years ago, and it made a big impression on me. I'd also like to see CROWHAVEN FARM (which I saw many years ago and enjoyed) and Spielberg's SOMETHING EVIL (which I don't recall having ever seen) on DVD.

OPEN SEASON (May be a stretch for horror)
There's a German DVD release of OPEN SEASON, Gary. It contains two versions of the film, both sadly cut: the cut German version of the film (in 2.35:1) and the 'R' rated American version of the film (in a compromised aspect ratio of 1.85:1).

This. Yes, please.

I only just realized that Duke Mitchell was Dean Martin to Sammy Petrillo's Jerry Lewis in the awesomely, enjoyably bad Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla.

I used to have that and Begotton on DVD. Sold 'em both. Oof.

If you sold Brooklyn Gorilla it's still plenty easy to find. Begotton on the other hand...
