They announced it yesterday on Facebook.

All they said was '1/29 - WHITE ZOMBIE: REMASTERED EDITION (1932, Victor Halperin, DVD & Blu-ray)' - no mention of extras or anything yet but this is definitely good news...

If Kino had something really special like an OCN or a restoration they'd have announced it by now.

That having been said, I can't wait to see what they've come up with.

It's a shame that the 'restored' version is such a completely slathered, waxy mess of a transfer.

Wealthy Plantation owner Charles Beaumont (Robert Frazer) turns to Voodoo Master Murder Legendre (Bela Lugosi) to lure the woman he loves Madeline Short (Madge Bellamy) away from her fiancé Neil Parker (John Harron), by turning her into zombie. Murders intentions are to keep Madeline for himself. Neil seeks out Murder Legendre to break the Zombie spell and return Madeline to the world of the living.
