Those videos remind me of the opening scene of The Apple:

It's more of a wonderfully terrible Saturday Night Fever rip off but yeah, I see the resemblance for sure.

Watched it last night with some family members, most of whom were both confused and intrigued by the movie choice BUT.... it went over well. Lots of entertainment value to be had here AND the movie also has a few wonderfully bad martial arts sequences in it. Disco Dancer definitely earned a few new fans last night.

Considering you can find the DVD around for only a few dollars, yeah, it's a great place to start. This one has it all!!

My racism prevents me from watching Bollywood films. Are they any good?

Some yes, some no. Just like movies from any other country. A lot of people have trouble getting around the song and dance numbers but now that I'm used to them, I usually look forward to them.

I hear that. Once you find a song that gets into your head, the rest fall into place. Mine was Turu Baba from Veerana. I can't get enough of it.

It's true! I find myself digging around for soundtracks and stuff now. The Disco Dancer soundtrack is a prime example, it's super catchy.
