Honey Wilder Collection, The
Released by: Video-X-Pix
Released on: 5/11/2009
Director: various
Cast: various (see review)
Year: various (1980s)
Purchase from TLA
The Movie:
Video-X-Pix provides a nice sampling of one of the more overlooked older women performers from the early to mid-1980s, Honey Wilder. She's an attractive older woman who made films during a time when MILF's and “matures†didn't have the niche market they do now, and older ladies were more of a novelty. Wilder's soft looking body, pretty looks, and quiet voice are showcased nicely in this collection of nine scenes from various movies, filling a running time of just under 1 hour and 7 minutes. The beginning credits only name Danielle, Cody Nicole, Sharon Mitchell, and Jerry Butler as the other performers.
Scene 1: Honey has a lesbian rendezvous with a blonde tart in the backroom of a bar. From the movie “Dirty Blondeâ€.
Scene 2: Honey gets tied to a bed and railed hard by some dude.
Scene 3: She enters the messy room of some guy and jumps on his dick.
Scene 4: Honey gets busy with Joey Silvera.
Scene 5: Honey's got a gun and she stops some dude, a blonde, and Sharon Mitchell from having a three-way…and turns it into a four-way. Then some other chick pops in and it's four girls one lucky guy. From the movie “Dirty Blondeâ€.
Scene 6: Honey's hair gets reaches for the ceiling as she grooves with a not-very-impressively-mustachioed Jerry Butler.
Scene 7: A tossing-and-turning Ms. Wilder just can't sleep. Nothing a bit of masturbation can't cure.
Scene 8: It's a three-way! Couldn't tell you with whom. Honey looks good with her hair up though. From the movie “Dirty Blondeâ€.
Scene 9: A return to the same back of the bar room as in the first scene. Honey went and got some stud for the blonde bimbo to bump uglies with. Honey doesn't do a whole lot in this scene. In fact, she's barely in it. From the movie “Dirty Blondeâ€.
Other than the last scene, she's in top form in this collection and fans of hers should enjoy this for the wankering aspect, but that's really the only purpose this (or any) compilation serves.
Video/Audio/Extras:
All scenes are in a 4:3 Full Frame aspect ratio. The source of the material is most probably tape (not sure what of this was shot on film, if anything) and there's not much to say about it. It looks like it came from tapes, although decent tapes, and it's all very watchable. No disc issues to mention. A “Video-X-Pix†bug appears now and then in the bottom right corner, but that's understandable. It's not intrusive. The audio shows as being 2.0 Dolby Digital, but is most certainly a mono feed. Sounds fine, all is audible and there are no troubles to mention.
The bonus features consist of “Classic Trailers†(Dirty Blonde, and Babylon Blue) running a total of five minutes, a two-minute “Slide Show†(screen captures from various films), and “Ron Jeremy Interview†which runs just under four minutes. He's fun to listen to, and leaves you wanting to hear more tales.
The Final Word:
If you like Honey Wilder, you should dig this collection. The extras help float it along to decent value for the buck. One thing though: the woman on the cover doesn't even look like Honey Wilder.
