Shot on VHS almost twenty years ago, this title which was previously released on tape back in the day captures Texas' finest sons playing live In Detroit, Michigan way back from 1985. The concert footage is interspersed with some bizarre interview footage, most of which is the band all laying in bend with deranged frontman Gibby Hayes waxing poetic about worms and aliens and other interesting topics.
The running time of the main content hits close to eighty minutes and the band performs 13 of their more manic, earlier works. There are some interesting extras on the disc as well: a photo gallery, song index, a karaoke option that allows you to sing along, an audio and photo gallery, and an extra bonus live track recorded in 1991.
The audio is presented in your choice of a newly remastered Dolby Digital 5.1 track or a 2.0 track and the video is full frame (which is how it was shot). Limitations of the source material do appear throughout but it looks much better than the old 4th generation VHS dub I had of this performance that I can now happily dispose of.
