Expanded version now includes two new bonus tracks and the entire Below The Belt music video trilogy featuring 'Full Of Regret,' 'Had Enough,' and 'I Think Bad Thoughts.'

BELOW THE BELT REISSUE TO BE DISTRIBUTED IN THE U.S. THROUGH EXCLUSIVE NEW DEAL WITH MRI/SONY/RED.

Los Angeles, CA - May 16, 2011 - Danko Jones and Bad Taste Records have announced the band will re-release their latest full-length album Below the Belt on June 21st as a deluxe reissue featuring two new bonus tracks titled "Guest List Blues" and "Rock N Roll Proletariat." Also included in the newly expanded CD version is the entire acclaimed Below the Belt music video trilogy. Under the terms of a new distribution deal, MRI will handle distribution of the deluxe reissue in the U.S. through Sony/RED. Danko Jones is scheduled to perform at the Rock on the Range Festival on Friday, May 20th before the band heads overseas for a round of European festival dates in June. Additional U.S. summer tour dates will be announced shortly.

The Below the Belt video trilogy was shot over the course of 2010 and 2011 for the album tracks "Full of Regret," "Had Enough," and "I Think Bad Thoughts." The video for "Full of Regret," a highly-stylized, film-like music video noir, has been described as "one-part 'Sabotage,' one-part Guy Ritchie, one-part Quentin Tarantino" and stars actor Elijah Wood and actress Selma Blair, with featured guest appearances by Lemmy Kilmister (Motí¶rhead) and Mike Watt (Minutemen, fIREHOSE, Stooges). SPIN.com called the video for "Had Enough," starring Ralph Macchio, "a noir-ish crime story that's like a Charles Bukowski novel come to life" with Billboard.com hailing the final installment of the trilogy for "I Think Bad Thoughts," as being "filled with badassery on so many levels." "I Think Bad Thoughts" stars actress Jena Malone (Sucker Punch) with Elijah Wood, Ralph Macchio and Mike Watt reprising their roles from the previous two videos.

Recently, Danko Jones was a featured guest on the Fucked Up "fake" compilation of fictional bands on Matador Records titled "David's Town." Danko sings on the opening track, "Byrdesdale Spa FC", in a fictional band called "Porcelain On Porcelain" (which is really just Fucked Up sans singer Damian Abraham). Check out the track here.

Described by Maxim as "AC/DC sniffing glue with Motley Crue" and hailed by SPIN as "the world's most entertaining hard rockers," Danko Jones (vox/guitar), John Calabrese aka JC (bass), and Dan Cornelius (drums) have relentlessly toured the world over. Sharing stages with everyone from hard rock icons Motí¶rhead and Sepultura to rock heavyweights Guns N' Roses and Nickelback to musical legends the Rolling Stones, the Toronto trio may very well be one of the best, or worst, kept secrets in music today.
