    BLOODIEST Sign To Relapse Records
Relapse Records is proud to announce the signing of Chicago, IL's BLOODIEST.
BLOODIEST is a seven piece ensemble that creates a stunning collection of metal-meets-psychedelia-via-early-AmRep epics. The band has recently completed work on their debut album that is expected to see its release in early spring. BLOODIEST recorded the full-length with noted engineer Sanford Parker.
BLOODIEST commented on recording the new full-length and partnership with Relapse; "We recorded with Sanford Parker @ Electrical audio in Chicago (Steve Albini's studio) where most of the basic tracks were cut live (IE drums, bass, 3 guitars) showcasing the energy and spontaneity of these songs. We then overdubbed at Semaphore Studios (also in Chicago) adding layers and textures to enhance the dynamics for what the band is known for (IE effected vocals, figure picked acoustic guitar, piano, etc.) Bloodiest is pleased to be working with Relapse and glad they got to capture our debut release "Descent"."
BLOODIEST was recently visited by Giant System Chicago, a local video project that video tapes bands in their practice spaces to capture the live and creative energy of a group. Giant System recorded BLOODIEST performing their "Dead Inside" track, off of Descent, that can be viewed now at this location.
BLOODIEST will open for seminal industrial-metal act KILLING JOKE tonight, Friday December 10th, at The Empty Bottle (1035 N. Western Ave.Chicago, IL). Advance tickets are now sold out with any remaining tickets available first-come, first-serve at the door. Additional BLOODIEST live dates will be announced soon.
Stay tuned to www.RELAPSE.com and the BLOODIEST Facebook page for forthcoming BLOODIEST news / album release information.
