LOS ANGELES, CALIF. (December 13, 2010) - When her complicated past comes back to haunt her, Phoenix's life quickly begins to spiral out of control in A Kiss of Chaos, debuting on DVD February 15th from Maya Entertainment. Things go from bad to worse when her bullet-wounded, thieving ex-boyfriend and HIV-positive sister end up on her doorstep, causing events to unfold that drag her into a vortex of chaos. Can Phoenix sever all ties with her past to ensure a better future before it's too late? This dynamic crime-thriller stars Judy Marte (Raising Victor Vargas), Manny Perez (TV's “Rescue Me,” Nothing Like the Holidays), Michael Rivera (A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints), with Paul Calderon (King of New York, Pulp Fiction) and Adam Rodriguez (TV's “CSI: Miami,” I Can Do Bad All By Myself). A Kiss of Chaos is unrated with a runtime of 103 minutes. It will be available on DVD for $27.98 SRP.

    Synopsis:
With a single knock at the door, the life of one woman (Judy Marte), a struggling artist known as Phoenix, is turned irreversibly inside out. Forced to care for both her bullet-wounded, gangster boyfriend, and her promiscuous, HIV-positive sister, what begins as a bad day, soon becomes a fast-paced journey into darkness. Add to that, five kilos of stolen cocaine, a pissed off drug boss, a bodyguard on the hunt, and all fingers pointing to Phoenix. Does she have what it takes to protect her loved ones? Or will today be the day the hero throws in the towel? It's loyalty versus survival in this wild urban drama.

A Kiss of Chaos was written and directed by Ricardo Sean Thompson (Rap War One). Michelle-Anne M. Small (Back Stab) produced with V.P. Harris, Morgen Lippa and Drew Oppelt (Salvage) serving as executive producers.
