Ania Solo's story continues here, if a bit muted, as she and Imperial Knight Jao fight to liberate the slave-workers from Sith Darth Luft'sforces.

Picking up right where the previous chapter ended, Admiral Gar Stazi and Imperial Knight Yalta Val arrive with fresh troops to fight. Jao and Luft face off and the captives seem to be about to be killed by their oppressors when Yalta Val's plan goes into action: Since the captives are all amphibious, he floods the station bays with water. This prevents a massacre and allows them to return the fight.

However, it only temporarily disrupts the showdown between Jao and Luft. Also, the mercenaries guarding the feeble and young prisoners decide to split, leaving the doors of the bay open to space and their captives to die. It takes some quick reactions from Ania and the help of the rogue transmitter droid to prevent a catastrophe. Meanwhile, Luft has gotten the best of Jao, trapping him underwater underneath rubble. Distracted by other soldiers, Luft is unaware that Jao has escaped and is finally able to end him.

The concluding action has the various characters pitching in together as they know this fight is far from over. The survivors receive a cryptic message from Lord Darth Wredd, stating that they've been used to only further his plans. So, it's clear to all of them that he must be dealt with, once and for all.

Authors Corinna Bechko and Gabriel Hardman get a mini-conclusion to their well-paced story here and everything moves along quite well. The artwork from Brian Thies has to do most of the heavy-lifting here and handles it very capably, capturing the dynamism quite well.
