The series comes to its bloody, fiery conclusion in this episode. Chloe is in the clutches of Sasha, the assassin who was supposed to originally receive the contract that Chloe accidentally intercepted (and followed through on). Meanwhile, local crime boss Talbot isn't getting the results he wanted with ridding himself of this pesky clown problem so he decides to take matters into his own hands.

Chloe gets creative with fire and alcohol, Sasha (what's left of her, anyway) gets creative with a car, and Talbot meets a fitting end. As the circus burns to the ground around them the only other original clown remaining is Aya whom Billy has taken back to his trailer. Unfortunately for Billy, Aya has some personal boundary issues. But Chloe is aware of these and is able to successfully extricate Aya from the mess she leaves behind and the two of them, now bound to one another, setting off into the literal sunset in Billy's cotton candy truck.

That ending image is an apt descriptor for the Clown Fatale series as a whole: Light, airy, a good time but sugary enough to turn you diabetic. The series moves quickly from one set piece to another, ready to cast off any & all characters to reach its apex. It's the artwork from Maurizio Rosenzweig that's the real star here, though, as it colorfully delights in its curvy, bloody fun in pretty much every single panel.
