    Released by: Dark Horse Comics
    Released on: March 12, 2014

Since their base on Yavin IV had been compromised the Rebel Alliance has been on the lookout for a new base of operations. By a stroke of coincidence Leia happened to land on the planet Arrochar and realized what it could be for them all. Diplomatic relations were set in motion, with the planet wanting to have a bigger presence in the universe and see this as their opportunity. The only catch is that for this to become the new home to the rebels Leia will have to wed the planet's prince.

Not surprisingly, this doesn't sit well with many, especially Luke and Han. Others, like Wedge, are sympathetic but see it as part of the greater good. But Luke goes into outright pouting, acting out dangerously even during a test run on their new home planet with the rest of Rogue Squadron. Wedge, leading that team, has to ground him, leading Luke to hit Han up on his offer of staying aboard the Millenium Falcon.

Leia is obviously conflicted but very desperate to regain a home planet after her own was destroyed. She's trying to not let the emotions of that event overwhelm her sense here and she's worked out a very formal relationship with the prince. However, on a scouting mission visiting the rebels setting up their new base, the prince's ward, a former general for the planetary forces, hints at a darker purpose involved here.

It's certainly a soap-opera type of story here but it's still interesting in how Brian Wood story finds unique new ways to flesh out inside the well-known narrative structure. Stephane Crety's artwork is the real gem here, though, as it's as lush as it is vibrant, grand and emotive but also working well in isolation, the way the characters feel emotionally.
