Right off the bat, carnage ensues at the hands of The White Suits, an elite team of nasty Russian assassins during the Cold War who are still operating and going after organized crime, now in New York City. No one seems safe from their reach, whether it be Americans or Russians, and they kill anyone they need to with extreme prejudice.

One man in particular, Prizrak, is suffering at the hands of The White Suits, but not in the physical sense. He's plagued with nightmares or memories of being a part of violent activity, but his brain is scrambled eggs and he just can't grasp onto who he is. Or why he dreams (remembers) about killing people while dressed in white. Sarah Anderson, and FBI agent, knows the man's past and story, but won't tell him until he helps her discover the truth about her father and his encounter and disappearance at the hands of The Suits.

A man in a red shirt, identified as Darabont, brings in a team of mercenaries to do battle with the pesky Suits, much to the chagrin of his cohorts, and they start to work protecting his interests. When Sarah and her soldier-man Prizrak storm the warehouse to get some info out of Darabont, they are met with some serious opposition they weren't counting on. It seems their little mission for information turns out a little differently than they planned.

Issue #2 is just as action-packed and well constructed as the first issue. The story continues on its multi-layered path and the story, and being at the halfway mark of a 4-issue series it's gearing up to be a blood bath. The thing is, it can be the blood of anyone of the main characters, as the story is anything but predictable. At least at this juncture. The book cooks along at a fast pace (maybe a little too fast, to be honest), but it sure is a satisfying read. And the art continues to command attention with its unpolished and gritty look, and its 100 percent effectiveness in delivering energy and chaos. Toby Cypress creates a great cover too.

There's no telling where this is going. Other than the fact that the only person that doesn't know who he is in the tale is Prizrak, answers are still just out of reach, but issue #3 should clear up some stuff. This story will no doubt conclude with some serious violence.
