In their search for the missing Detective Carroll, Sheriff Crane and Agent Finch are looking for answers in a cemetery that serves as a resting place for the corpses of the many serial killers that Buckaroo, Oregon has birthed. They've met opposition in one form or another in their search and why should being at such a place be any different? They are attacked at the graveyard by a hooded figure and when they catch the creep, they are surprised at who it is. And they get no further in their search as the result of the attack shows. Just more mystery. They may not find the answers they are looking for concerning the recent rash of copycat-like murders, but their search for Carroll concludes.

In other parts of the town, the big guy who owns the murder shop in town starts flexing his muscle, looking to take back the town and use the apparent curse on the town to their benefit. During his discussion, another infamous killer is discussed, this time the “WTF Killer." That has to take the prize for the absolute dumbest name for a serial killer so far in this series. At any rate, his “thing” is to use a human being as a living canvass, and alter the person's body in any way he saw fit to create his art.

And over at the jail, is the latest and seemingly most infamous of all the Buckaroo wackos, Edward Charles Warren, aka The Nailbiter, being held behind bars for his own safety while the sheriff, who also happens to be his high school prom date, goes spook hunting with Finch. A teenage girl, who's made an appearance a few times so far in the series is also at the jail on the other side of the bars and has taken an interest in what Warren has to say. She even offers him her fingernails if he gives her some information.

Lot's going on in issue #4, and apparently we are at the half way mark as it is reported to be a 7-issue series. Aside from some goofy serial killer back story, this is one tight issue that has a wicked cliffhanger.
