  • Heavy Breathing

    Released by: VCX
    Released on: 7/2/2010
    Director: Jack Genero
Cast: Bunny Bleu, Sandy Summers, Barbie Blake
    Year: 1986

    The Movie:

Bunny Bleu plays phone sex line operator Abby in this made-for-video porno from 1986. This is Bunny before she bought her boobs and turned into a red head, and she looks as though she smoked herself thin for this one. Skinny and not all too attractive, she stumbles through her lines and gets gooey with the likes of Barbie Blake, Ray Hartin, Sandy Summers, Greg Derek, and Chris Reed. Who? Exactly.

The story in this little tale is one that will not astound anyone. Bunny is a phone whore who would rather service the perverts in person than over the phone. So she porks the phone repair guy, the other girls who work there, some guy in the park, and her boss. Heck she even shows the range of her acting prowess and pretends to throw a baseball, hits the ball with an invisible bat, and gets a drink of water from the fountain before she gives some random dude a blow job right there in public. Well, no one is around, but still…the risk of getting caught is there. No it isn't. It's someone's fenced in yard. It ends with a three-way and, you guessed it, a money shot.

So how's the sex you may be asking? Not very interesting to be honest. The girls are not really pretty, they are all malnourished looking, and wear way too much makeup. It's the same old stuff with a lesbian scene thrown in between each man-on-woman scene, and is not erotic at all, at least to these loins. Number of chubbers popped? Zero. The extras are better spank bank material than the feature. Of course this is all one perv's opinion and of course totally subjective. Surely some people must dig this movie, else they wouldn't have put it out on disc.

    Video/Audio/Extras:

The aspect ratio is 4:3 full screen and looks like it recorded from a VHS tape. Probably was. There's not much else to say about it. You all know how a VHS tape looks. And the audio is awful. It sounds like listening through a single speaker, blown, on an old tube tv. But if you're just looking to bust a nut, does it really matter? Probably not.

There are a few things here by way of extras. Four “Bonus Scenes” from various movies (Sex Wish, Sweet Throat, Lorelei, and Peepers), with running times from 6:30 to 13:45, featuring such notables as Kay Parker and Samantha Strong. Next is a selection of vintage trailers (Pleasure Palace, Stacey's Hot Rod, Sweet Throat, and Making It Big). Lastly is “Legendary Tribute” which is a compilation of familiar mugs making silly faces set to music, lasting about four and a half minutes.

    The Final Word:

Sub-standard porn fare from the 80s that certainly doesn't succeed in impressing in any fashion, Heavy Breathing is simply bad smut. The video and audio are disappointing, but the extras help the release a little bit. Unless you're a fan of Bunny Bleu from her early skinny days, there probably isn't much on this disc to make it worth hiding from the lady of the house.

      Tormented – Movie Review:

The late Bert I. Gordon’s 1963 horror film, ‘Tormented,’ is an effectively spooky ghost story made with an obviously low budget but no less effective for it.
