The Movie:
The fine folks over at Impulse Pictures are back with another collection of 8mm hardcore loops, their fourteenth collection to date, preserved digitally for posterity's sake and now available on DVD for your own personal enjoyment. Here's what to expect…
PING PONG PUSHOVER: A girl in a see through top plays ping pong with some dude. I guess he wins because he goes over to her and gets a blowjob, which seems like a pretty good prize for a ping pong match. They have sex on the floor beside the table, the table doesn't look sturdy enough to do the deed on top of.
BIG TITS: Lisa De Leeuw is hanging out looking red headed and busty with some dude between her legs going to town. They make out and have sex and she manages to at least partially keep her dress on for the duration of the scene.
CREAM PIE: A black guy dressed like a pimped out chef slathers whipped crí¨me all over various body parts of a lovely young lady wearing way too much purple eye shadow. This gets her in the mood so she takes it from there and they get into some wacky food play involving a slice of pie (literally).
THE BATHTUB: A guy with a moustache is in a bath tub where a blonde girl is going down on him. After that she soaps him up a bit and he returns the favors before she decides to take a trip to rim-job city.
TOTEM POLE: A blonde in a cowboy hat takes on a guy wearing fringed leather chaps and a leather vest. Once she's got him warmed up he gets her warmed up and then they go at it for the main event. Who knew the Wild West had so much shag carpeting? And THEN the guy turns into an Indian for some reason.
THREE'S A BALL: Bobby Astyr gets it on with a lean, lithe brunette who seems to have no trouble letting him lie back so she can do all the work. They go at it on a bed covered in purple and then Annie Sprinkle shows up dressed like a naughty French Maid! Hooray for Annie!
SLIPPERY WHEN WET: In this loop a man and a woman undress atop a bed covered in a camel print comforter. Sex ensues and then a second woman shows up and joins in on the fun.
DEVIL IN TINA RUSSEL: Tina Russell, not surprisingly, stars in this one where she makes out with an auburn haired cuties on a couch while a hippie guy takes pictures of them. Of course it doesn't take long for the girls to decide he should join in, and that's exactly what this guy does. A shot of Tina's autobiography opens the loop.
UNTITLED: A stylishly dressed black guy walks down the street when he spies to foxy ladies looking for fun. They head back to his place, eat a banana suggestively, and then get him naked for a three way - or maybe a four way, if you include the banana that gets just as much action as our hero does.
BOUND TO FUCK: A guy and a girl are sitting at a small table with a poster for The Sting displayed behind them. It looks like they might be playing cards. The camera pulls back and it turns out there's a girl bound under the table in chains and leather. The couple then proceed to have their way with her but it doesn't seem like she minds too much.
TINA'S LATIN LADY: Tina and a woman we can presume to be her Latin lover are checking out this weird phallus that is made out of wood. Once they figure out a use for it the girls take turns getting each other off while whoever edited this occasionally cuts away to paint splotches for some reason.
DILDO CHICKS: If you like chicks who like dildos then you'll probably like Dildo Chicks. Here a girl reads a dirty magazine until her friend shows up - then they make out and bust out some dildos to use on one another.
THREE'S ENOUGH: Three lovely ladies get naked in a nicely decorated room with a lot of potted plants. They congregate on the red couch and rub each other's stocking clad legs and then go to down on one another.
THE DRESSING ROOM: An all new production from San Francisco Films is what the titles alert us to. Three girls are standing around mostly naked in a warehouse of some sort. One has a vibrator so they play with that and generally just have a good time doing what it is that lesbians do. The set doesn't look like a dressing room at all but that doesn't stop them.
LICKING LEZZIES: Last but not least, two girls are hanging out watering plants. They soon realize that watering plants is kind of boring so one girl takes her top off and then pulls her pants down. The other follows suit and these licking lezzies soon get to licking, lezzy style before busting out a giant double-ended dong for the big finish.
Video/Audio/Extras:
Each of the 8mm loops on this disc are presented in their original 1.33.1 fullframe aspect ratio and transferred from film. They haven't been fully restored so expect a fair bit of print damage and plenty of visible scratches but that doesn't really detract from the experience much. Colors are faded and black levels all over the place but if the elements are in rough shape, at least the disc is well authored and not plagued by compression artifacts or edge enhancement problems.
The audio is on par with the video, sort of. This stuff was shot without sound, so really we just the 'click' of a projector in terms of audio, there's really not much to write about here.
Extras? Nope. You get a menu and loop selection but that's it. Inside the case, however, you will discover a booklet of liner notes from film archeologist Dimitrios Otis that give a quick rundown as to the history and importance of 8mm loops in the pantheons of adult cinema.
The Final Word:
42nd Street Forever: The Peepshow Collection Volume 14 is another fine quality offering of 8mm smut from the golden age of porn. As usual, it's fun to see a few familiar faces pop up here and the quality is about as good as you can realistically expect. If you're a fan of loop compilations like this one, logic would dictate this'll give you exactly what you want.
