The Movie:
For a eighteenth (!!) time, those perverts over at Impulse Pictures present another collection of 8mm hardcore loops, preserved digitally for posterity's sake and now available on DVD for your own personal enjoyment. Here's what to expect…
BROTHER AND SISTER: A woman sits reading when her naked boyfriend comes out of the show intent on getting it on. She's into the idea too and after a little foreplay, they're both naked and screwing on the floor of the living room. Nothing too exciting or unique about this one but they look like they're having fun and perform with enthusiasm. I guess these guys are siblings?
UNTITLED: A guy who looks like he just walked off stage with the MC5 gets a hummer from a pretty blonde gal in a dingy room on a grimy looking bed. From there she hops on for a ride and they go at it from a few different angles until everyone is happy. This gal has a fancy watch!
PARTNERS: This one is really dark and poorly lit but you can still see what's going on - a guy and a girl are making out. He grabs her ass, they get some tongue action, and then they hop into bed. There's a poster of a naked lady on the wall. The girl in this one has frosted blonde highlights which is kind of uncommon for the era. She also likes fingering dude's buttholes - lots going on in this one!
INTENSE INTERVIEW: A pretty brunette puts on a record and takes off her clothes while some space robot and an alien are displayed behind her from some reason. The guy on the couch that she's entertaining is impressed - she's pretty stacked - as she strips for him. From there, they screw. She keeps her stockings on and… is that guy Eric Edwards? Kinda looks like him. Not sure though…
ZERBA THE GREEK: A girl in a funny headdress with short black hair and big teeth and one of her friends entertain a greasy looking guy by feeding him drinks in a room covered with weird silver paneling. From there they screw him, two girls, one guy. The friend has a bob cut and is pretty curvy. Everyone involved seems to have a pretty good time here.
DUTCH TREAT: Two girls get into a cat fight while two guys, one sporting a beret, try to put a stop to it. One of the guys looks kinda like Zebedy Colt but maybe it's not him. Nah, it's not, just sort of looks like him. Anyway, the girls make up and make out and then they guys join in. The rest of the loop is basically an orgy on the floor. Nice orange shag carpeting.
ANAL SANDWICH: Two guys screw around with a pretty blonde. One of the guys is Mike Ranger. He's working the gal from behind but soon he and the other dude switch it up. The other dude finishes first and then Mike and the Blonde, a young Seka, keep at it which seems to inspire the other dude to come back for round two. Two guys, one girl. Anal Sandwich. Do the math.
CUNT HAPPY: Somewhere in a skeezy hotel room two guys and two girls have a make out party. Everyone is wearing denim and lots of it. One of the dudes has a lot of tattoos, a full sleeve, which is uncommon. This one is soft and fuzzy looking, hard to tell if anyone here is that recognizable or not. One of the girls is a white chick with an afro.
LUSTY BITCHES: Lesbians! Lusty, bitchy, lesbians - and a black guy! That's what this loop is all about. The guy is the recipient of a whole lot of attention from a blonde gal in rad lingerie while a dark haired gal sort of putters around using her fingers and her tongue in various strategic locations.
PISS ORGY: The only black and white loop on the disc sees two girls, one of whom is definitely Linda Lovelace, going at it on a couch. As the blonde gal does her thing between Linda's legs, a guy shows up with a strap on toy for the blonde. The guy and the blonde put Linda on the floor to use the toy and, after a bit of all that, well, buddy stands up and pisses on the two ladies as they go at it. Hey, consenting adults and all that. Who are you to judge?
PINK ASS: A dark haired girl in red lingerie makes out with a lighter haired girl in black lingerie near a lovely fireplace.
SILKY TONGUES: A red haired girl in purple lingerie gets it on with a dark haired girl in black lingerie on a big green couch.
TWICE IS NICE: Linda Shaw and a gal with a bad dye job makes out near a Hamm's Beer sign in someone's rec room. Linda gets her top off and then her bottom off and soon the other gal is naked too. Pretty standard girl on girl action but you've gotta love the wood paneling and the Hamm's sign.
GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS: A pretty blonde in a blue and white fringe bikini struts about on a wall, stretching and showing off the goods. A woman in a slinky black outfit watches from a nearby window. They spy each other and soon enough, bikini girl has gone inside where she and the peeper oil each other up and screw first in the living room and then in the shower.
LICK MY LEATHER: A dark haired vixin in leather pants gropes herself as she watches another dark haired vixen in a leather skirt clean a workout machine. Skirt gal starts to diddle herself, pants girl follows suit. They masturbate and watch each other and then get it on using the workout machine as a prop. Very little leather is actually licked.
Video/Audio/Extras:
Each of the 8mm loops on this disc are presented in their original 1.33.1 fullframe aspect ratio and transferred from film. They haven't been fully restored so expect a fair bit of print damage and plenty of visible scratches but that doesn't really detract from the experience much. Colors are faded and black levels all over the place but if the elements are in rough shape, at least the disc is well authored and not plagued by compression artifacts or edge enhancement problems.
The audio is on par with the video, sort of. This stuff was shot without sound, so really we just the 'click' of a projector in terms of audio, there's really not much to write about here.
Extras? Nope. You get a menu and loop selection but that's it. Inside the case, however, you will discover a booklet of liner notes from none other than Dimitrios Otis that offer up some insight into the historical value and enduring popularity of 8mm loops like the ones contained on this DVD.
The Final Word:
42nd Street Forever: The Peepshow Collection Volume 18 is an interesting addition to the link thanks to the inclusion of some A-listers seen here in their early days. The presentation is what it is - this stuff will only ever look so good - but fans of vintage smut and 8mm loops should enjoy this along with all the other entries in the collection.
