CANDY SWALLOWS IT: An attractive brunette does her makeup and looks in the mirror while her man, Herschel Savage, jerks off in bed. She heads on over and blows him, until he gets her naked and they sixty-nine for a bit. With that out of the way he flips her over and bones her, the camera pulls back and huh, that's a pretty huge headboard. Nice orange curtains too. Anyway, they go at it and then he pops.
JOCKS AND SOCKS: A girl showers for a minute or so, she's got chin length blonde hair. She comes out and rubs her baked boobs on a guy's head and they make out. They give each other oral for a little while, she kneels on some seriously green shag carpet, and then he bends her over and rails her. They go at it from a few different angles until they don't. She's got neat knee-high striped socks on and a bejeweled chocker. Dude's got really shaggy hair. Merle Haggard would not approve.
IN NO TIME!: A sultry brunette with eighties hair leans against a fireplace and shows off the goods for a dorky looking guy until he conjures up the moxie to go down. She's into that, and then gets down on all fours so he can do his thing. She looks at the camera and licks her lips every few seconds and keeps her high heeled knee-high boots on. They screw on a leopard print couch with a knitted white throw blanket overtop, I guess to keep them from messing it up? Even though this is called 'In No Time' it's actually quite a bit longer than most of the other loops on this disc.
DADDY'S FRIEND: A sporty young blonde ties up her roller skates and zips around for a minute, before heading inside and taking them off where a guy who I guess is her daddy's friend takes off her Mickey Mouse shirt and starts playing with her knockers. Actually I'm wrong, she doesn't take the skates off. It looked like she was going to but she changed her mind. They do the oral thing and then get down to bumping and grinding before he does it up her rump. She doesn't seem to mind much though. This room is horribly decorated even by the standards of the day. It's very orange.
BRASS BED BLONDE: A blonde gets on a brass bed and blows a guy who looks like he was trying out for a part on Magnum PI or something. After that he gets her all primed and ready for the main event. She keeps her stockings on but thankfully he takes off his black socks. This bed is pretty brassy too, lots of brass on this bed. There's a neat blue lamp beside it and some jungle plants nearby to give it some character.
SMOKIN': Some lucky blonde dude is on the couch with two lingerie-clad blonde gals who want nothing more than to gobble his dong and rub their titties in his face. This goes on for a bit and then they take turns riding him. He doesn't have to do too much work, they more or less handle things as he lies there and they go at it. He has lovely feathered hair and there's an unusual amount of tropical plants placed around the room.
AFTER HOURS: Some guy with a moustache is hanging out after work with two gals in lingerie who want nothing more than to gobble his dong and get each other off. Yep, the ladies pay more attention to one another at first than they do to the guy but soon enough eh gets in on it all. Once girl is completely shaved, which reveals a bad tattoo that would not have been so visible otherwise. These are the things you notice when you write about this stuff a lot. Everyone looks like they had a good time though.
CLIT THIEF: This one starts off with two pretty lesbians doing lesbian things. A dude shows up and undresses - is he a clit thief? I don't know. All clits appear to be intact throughout this loop. Anyway, the girls and the potential clit thief have a pretty solid three-way here, everyone gets plenty of action and satisfaction and there's some noticeable energy and passion in this one. There are also some neat posters on the wall, one of which looks like Earth, Wind And Fire.
DOUCHE MAN: A guy is on a couch with two horny lingerie clad women, the kind of women that like to play around. There's a bright red and white phone nearby and the guy is dressed like a lumberjack sort of, which I guess means he's a hipster which is probably why this is called Douche Man. Anyway, he screws these chicks but doesn't actually douche them. Maybe he did that before the cameras started rolling. The girls are cute though.
TOUGH CHICKS: A scruffy guy lies in bed enjoying some Miller High Life. He shares it with two horny and haggard looking girls who, I guess, are supposed to be tough. This apparently gets them so turned on that they want nothing more than to gobble his dong, which is what they do for a minute or two. Maybe three. After that one of the girls plays with herself and then sits on scruffy's face while the other one rides him. Finally he moves and does one from behind while she takes care of the other gal, the dark haired one with giant knockers.
JYNX & LYNN: There are two girls on screen, a blond wearing a 'Join The Sleep Revolution' shirt and another blonde in lingerie. They're enjoying some cocktails, and then they decide to play around with some stockings and have rad lesbian sex. Then a guy whose dong is so big that it pokes out of the bottom of his cut-off jean shorts shows up. The girls want nothing more than to gobble on his dong and a three-way breaks out. He bangs one and then he bangs the other and that's pretty much it.
VANILLA MILKSHAKE: One girl goes down on another girl and then fucks her with her toes! After that she uses a toy on her after which they trade spots. Both of these girls seem to be having a pretty good time doing it on a white fur rug in front of the fireplace. They look like they're probably very good friends - and then the one in the black lingerie hoists up her boobs and sprays the other one in the face with her breastmilk!
COED CUNTS: This loop actually has a quick title card on it that really does read 'COED CUNTS' on it before we cut to a room with wood paneling and a bed inside. On top of the bed is quilt, it looks homemade, like something your grandmother might have had a hand in creating. Two girls come into the frame, possibly coeds. They undress and play with one another's lady parts before busting out a double-ended dong and going to town with that thing on top of that quilt that your grandmother made.
QUEERS GIRLS: Two girls are on a couch looking good. They play with one another's hair and then take each other's dresses off. I wonder where this might lead? It's a one-way ticket to Lesbian Town, that's where it leads. They do the foreplay thing but pretty quickly get to the main event, using fingers and tongues the way that top quality lesbians do in adult movies. The couch looks like it might be kind of scratchy though, so I hope they didn't get any burns on their buts or anything.
THE SLIT-EYED SLUT: Last but not least, the most politically incorrect loop title that I've seen in sometime! Linda Wong and a blonde enjoy a drink and then start making out. One thing leads to another and they get naked and then go down on one another. Linda arches her back rather impressively here at one point. She was pretty flexible it seems. The end!
42nd Street Forever: The Peepshow Collection Volume 23 - DVD Review:
Each of the 8mm loops on this disc are presented in their original 1.33.1 fullframe aspect ratio and transferred from film. They haven't been fully restored so expect a fair bit of print damage and plenty of visible scratches but that doesn't really detract from the experience much. Colors are faded and black levels all over the place but if the elements are in rough shape, at least the disc is well authored and not plagued by compression artifacts or edge enhancement problems.
The audio is on par with the video, sort of. This stuff was shot without sound, so really we just the 'click' of a projector in terms of audio, there's really not much to write about here.
Extras? Nope. You get a menu and loop selection but that's it. Inside the case, however, you will find a two-page insert booklet containing quotes on doing loops from various golden age performers like Leslie Bovee, Veronica Hart and Jamie Gillis (many of which are taken from interviews Jill Nelson did for her book Golden Goddesses).
42nd Street Forever: The Peepshow Collection Volume 23 - Movie Review - The Final Word:
42nd Street Forever: The Peepshow Collection Volume 23 is another solid entry in the ongoing line, offering up almost two-hours' worth of vintage sleaze for the loop connoisseur in nice enough shape. Lots of dirty fun to be had with this one and a few kinky surprises thrown in for good measure.
Also, I lol'd at the quilt hahaha.
