42nd Street Forever: The Peepshow Collection Volume 26 - Movie Review:
Twenty-eight volumes in and Impulse Pictures' 42nd Street Forever: The Peepshow Collection series is still going strong. For those just getting started, this is a long running compilation series gathering from obscurity all manner of 8mm XXX loops starring some familiar, and not so familiar, faces from the golden age of dirty movies. Here's what you get in this latest collection….
BE BIG!: Not be best, be big! A mustachioed man in a sports coat plays with the breasts of a well-endowed strawberry blonde. She's into it, gives him some head and then sits him down on the couch and rides him. There's a nice selection of flowers in a wicker basket behind them and she's wearing flesh colored stockings. Flesh colored stockings are the worst, but this doesn't stop him from flipping her on to the couch and going for it. There are weird decorative red orbs on the coffee table in front of them. He pulls out and she finishes him off.
RITA'S RIVAL: A lithe dark haired lady is naked in a kitchen. Is it her kitchen? We do not know but she finds a wooden spoon on the counter near the whiskers and after playing with it and the other utensils at her disposal decides that fingers are a girl's best friend. A dude in a tennis shirt comes in, it's the guy who played Junior in Taboo II - Kevin James! He goes down on her and she returns the favor and then some, tossing his salad for a spell. VACUUM SALESMAN: A perky blonde in pig tales, a red ascot and a black mini dress dusts a room full of books and Asian artwork. Clearly this is the home of a very refined individual. Into this home comes a man with a vacuum, presumably the salesman alluded to in the title. He shows off the rig to the lady, and then… SPOILER ALERT, he drops his pants and she blows him. After that he gets her clothes off and goes to town on her for a bit. They do it from a few different angles; she leaves her corset on for good measure, and after some humping and pumping he makes a big ol' mess on her mound.
CAT SCRATCH FEVER: Ted Nugent probably didn't authorize the title of this one but then, Ted Nugent probably wouldn't mind. Ted's got some rad tunes and Cat Scratch Fever is one of them. Too bad he's a fucking whackjob. Speaking of fucking, when this one starts a young Tom Byron is going down on a dark haired lass in a red slinky thing. She's into it, and she pays him back for the oral favor with more of the same. They're in a very 70's looking rec-room with weird painting on the wall and a fireplace. They have sex on a rust colored E-Z-Boy recliner from a few different angles, all of them seemingly pretty effective. HOT ROD: A guy with a moustache and silk jacket is making out with a blonde in a car. This car may or may not be a hot rod, we can't tell yet. She gets her hand down his pants and then slobbers on his dong for a spell. He looks completely coked out. They get out of the car - I can't tell what it is but my dad would know. I'm not emailing him about this though. Anyway, his pants are missing but he's still got his socks on. He gets her clothes off. She looks a bit like Laura Dern but not so much that you'd really mistake her for Laura Dern, I'm just trying to paint a picture with words here. They screw, he's got fuzzy, frizzy hair. She pulls him out of her and then, once again, goes in for the oral finish.
UNTITLED: This one starts off with a white blonde lady licking what we can assume is someone's manchowder off of the face of a black lady. Or maybe she's just drooling on her. Either way, it could be a little unhygienic but it's not stopping these ladies. The camera pulls back and there's a guy there, he's taking care of the black gal with his mouth with the blonde takes care of him with her mouth. No one takes care of the blonde - which makes you wonder why they didn't title this THE SAD HORNY BLONDE - but whatever, that changes soon and the blonde gets her turn to be eaten and poked. The guy has big hair. I'm not sure what this room is. There's what looks like an ice cream machine in the background but it could be a fan of some sort, hard to tell. The blonde has a cool choker on which is neat. The black gal has huge finger nails. Kind of dangerous looking. Dude has a serious moustache, this thing isn't messing around. Anyway, they all have sex on a table and by the end of it the black gal has eaten dude's ass and the blonde doesn't seem so sad anymore.
TWO ON A BIG STICK: Another guy with a big moustache is in this one, making out with a blonde chick who has Farrah Fawcett hair. He's got a nice gold chain about his neck. There's a brunette lady with him - these would be the 'two' of the title and we can safely assume that he's the titular 'big stick' and that they will soon be on him. They collectively blow him for a bit and then they girls make out while he pokes around their various orifices for a bit before screwing the blonde and then the brunette. To be honest though he's kind of on them as opposed to the other way around. He also finishes rather quickly given that he's supposed to be a professional.
WILD MASQUERADE: When this one opens, we see two women and two men wearing weird masquerade masks. There's also a figure in the middle that is probably a guy but we can't say for sure yet. You can see this in the screen cap below. Check it out, then come back. Anyway, a few more people NOT wearing masks come into the frame and everyone has a giant orgy. That's about it. There's a lot of people here, one guy looks like Tom Byron again. Yep, it's him. Anyway, everyone fucks everyone else pretty much and there you go.
FAB FOURSOME: A naked guy lays back on a bad plaid couch. A girl with shortish hair gets his balls in her mouth. A blonde walks in and sides on his face. These girls pleasure this man for a while and he takes turns giving them some oral love as well. He leaves and then a long haired skinny guy comes in and takes his place. THE MADAME: Two ladies, one in lingerie and the other in a red or purple outfit (color fading means you just have to guess sometimes) side in front of a weird jungle backdrop. Is one the madame? Probably. Let's assume the shorthaired blonde in the lingerie is, and that the girl in the red or purple outfit with the long dark hair is a new recruit there to learn the ins and outs of sex work from an experienced professional. Yeah, that sounds good. Anyway, they get naked and fuck the way that rad lesbians do. They seem pretty into it and even bust out a toy half way through. The teacher has now become the student. There are a lot of plants in the background.
CLIT LOVERS: Who doesn't love a good clit? Everyone's got their kinks, sure, but you shouldn't do this to your sister. Anyway, they have sex on one of those scratchy looking couches like the one I inherited and had in the flophouse that I lived in for a while in the second year of college. 42nd Street Forever: The Peepshow Collection Volume 26 - DVD Review:
Each of the 8mm loops on this disc are presented in their original 1.33.1 fullframe aspect ratio and transferred from film. They haven't been fully restored so expect a fair bit of print damage and plenty of visible scratches but that doesn't really detract from the experience much. Colors are faded and black levels all over the place but if the elements are in rough shape, at least the disc is well authored and not plagued by compression artifacts or edge enhancement problems.
The audio is on par with the video, sort of. This stuff was shot without sound, so really we just the 'click' of a projector in terms of audio, there's really not much to write about here.
Extras? Nope. You get a menu and loop selection but that's it.
42nd Street Forever: The Peepshow Collection Volume 26 - The Final Word:
42nd Street Forever: The Peepshow Collection Volume 28 once again offers up a nice selection of vintage XXX oddities, some featuring some stars but most using some less recognizable performers. Regardless, if you're into old smut then this edition will make another nice addition to your collection. Fun stuff.
