Danko Jones Announces East Coast U.S. Tour Dates
DANKO JONES ANNOUNCES U.S. TOUR DATES IN NEW YORK, HARTFORD, AND PHILADELPHIA
THIRD AND FINAL INSTALLMENT OF BELOW THE BELT VIDEO TRILOGY "I THINK BAD THOUGHTS" TO BE RELEASED THIS MONTH
ADDITIONAL EAST COAST SHOWS TO BE ANNOUNCED
Los Angeles, CA - February 11, 2011 - Danko Jones has announced a new round of U.S. tour dates in February and March. Three dates have been confirmed in New York, Hartford and Philadelphia with additional east coast dates to be announced shortly. The band recently wrapped a west coast U.S. tour in December and is coming off the road in Canada where they have been touring sold out venues since January. They will return to Europe in April touring Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Danko Jones previously announced officially wrapping the filming of the third and final installment of their Below the Belt music video trilogy for the track "I Think Bad Thoughts." The video marks the return of an all-star cast that had been previously featured in both of the epic "Full of Regret" and "Had Enough" videos. The video starring Elijah Wood, Ralph Macchio, Jena Malone, Mike Watt, Frank Drank, Laura Margolis and Art Hsu will be officially released later this month.
Danko Jones capped off a huge year in 2010 and kicked off 2011 with a series of live shows at the Sundance Film Festival, along with batch of brand new interviews on Nikki Sixx's "Sixx Sense Radio" show and HD live performances of songs "Full of Regret," "I Think Bad Thoughts," "Sugar High," and "Cadillac" on JBTV. Described by Maxim as "AC/DC sniffing glue with Motley Crue" and hailed by SPIN as "the world's most entertaining hard rockers," Danko Jones (vox/guitar), John Calabrese aka JC (bass), and Dan Cornelius (drums) have relentlessly toured the world over. Sharing stages with everyone from hard rock icons Motí¶rhead and Sepultura to rock heavyweights Guns N' Roses and Nickelback to musical legends the Rolling Stones, the Toronto trio may very well be one of the best, or worst, kept secrets in music today.

Judas Priest - Electric Eye – Movie Review:
The Judas Priest – Electric Eye DVD from Sony Music/BMG captures the band at the height of their popularity and was released just in time for what was, at the time, the upcoming reunion tour which saw original vocalist Rob Halford reuniting with the band...-

FLOTSAM AND JETSAM have been at this since the early 1980s and are probably best remembered for giving bassist Jason Newstead to METALLICA. Their first two records - Doomsday For The Deceiver and No Place For Disgrace are considered classics of the thrash metal genre but like many other acts that started strong on an indie label and wound up on a major label during the thrash signing boom ...-

Purchase From Amazon Recorded in Bulgaria - where life is cheap! Hot on the heels of his utterly bizarre We Are One collaboration (also reviewed here at RSP!), everyone's favorite Teutonic Metal ogre Herr Udo Dirkschneider returns with that ubiquitous staple - the live album. For a while now it has been common practice for legacy acts, or pretty much any band with a history over 20 years long, to release a live album...-

Released by: Massacre Records Released on: February 12, 2021. Purchase From Amazon “Metal in my head... EXPLODING!†Germany's WIZARD have been at this since 1991 and at this point have pretty much nailed this “true metal†thing down to a science. This, the band's 12th full length offers very little in the way of musical surprises and appears to be purposefully designed that way. WIZARD are catering to a very specific demographic - aficionados of gloriously irony-free...
