THE BIG APPLE COMIC CONVENTION SILVER ANNIVERSARY PREQUEL EXPO

    JULY 17TH 2021, THE NEW YORKER HOTEL, 481 8TH AVE @ 34TH ST.

The world of human contact is back, and the first full meet up comic convention in NYC in 18 months will be the BACC Silver Anniversary Expo, July 17th, 2021, a prequel to our upcoming Silver Anniversary show September 25-26, 2021.

BACC is the original, historic, New York comic book and pop culture collectible event. 25 years serving and interacting with the New York pop culture community. Non-corporate employee owned, we are of the city, in the city, and all for NYC, providing family friendly entertainment and one of the best known collectible trade environments in United States.

At every show millions of dollars of precious collectible comics, trading cards, and other collectibles are exhibited and traded, as thousands of young and old fans enjoy the excitement of cosplay, games, artists and the books they love.

The last Comic Convention held in NYC was the BACC Christmas Con, December 14th 2019, after that we all know what happened. As a NYC community institution for 25 years we vowed to be the first Comic Convention to return. And we are, bigger and better than ever at our new home in the iconic Art Deco architectural masterpiece The New Yorker Hotel.

Legendary artists Jim Steranko and Jim Starlin will be in attendance and X-Force and Image Studios' Marat Mychaels is also our guest. He will be offering a number of his sly and outrageously collectible alternate covers for which he is justly famous, and a special edition set created just for the 25th Anniversary BACC.

Of course, the universe of Cosplay will re-emerge into the real world, and we will have 2 great cosplay contests with super prizes supplied by our partners Ultimate Wireless and through Marvel Studio's Black Widow promotion.

The show will also feature artist workshops, panels on collecting and grading comics, special events, prizes, and of course over 100 exhibitors with some of the most sought after collectible comic books from the Golden, Silver, Bronze and Contemporary eras of the art.
BACC has always catered to young artists, now we have expanded Artist Alley to be exceptionally rich with creative talent working for your
    smile.

Finally we will have a free video gaming area featuring the history of the art where prospective superheroes can hone their fingertip skills to save the world from aliens, or rob a bank.

    Tormented – Movie Review:

The late Bert I. Gordon’s 1963 horror film, ‘Tormented,’ is an effectively spooky ghost story made with an obviously low budget but no less effective for it.
