    Tourist Trap – Movie Review:

Directed by co-written by David Schmoeller (who would later go on to direct the first Puppet Master film as well as the Klaus Kinski vehicle Crawlspace) and produced by Charles Band, 1979’s Tourist Trap begins with a guy named Woody (Keith McDermott) and his lady friend Eileen (Robin Sherwood) are stuck on the side of the road, the victims of a flat tire. Woody takes the tire up the road to try and get help, and Eileen connects with travelling companions Jerry (Jon Van Ness),

Just like The Curse Of The Crying Woman, The Witch's Mirror was produced by Abel Salazar and Churubusca Azteca Studios and shown theatrically in its native Mexico 1960 (then later picked up by American International for television distribution later in 1965). The Universal Horror Collection Volume 6 – Movie Review:

Shout Factory brings to high definition another four classics of vintage horror from the Universal vaults with their sixth entry (and, sadly, reportedly their last) in their ongoing Universal Horror Collection series. While these might not carry the same clout as the Frankenstein or Dracula pictures, they still have their place and so far, these sets have proven to be a lot of fun.

    The Black Castle:

Nathan Juran’s 1952 pictures, The Black Castle, tells the tale of Sir Ronald Burton (Richard Greene), an adventurer type who becomes convinced that some friends of his were murdered when they wound up staying the night in the castle home of one Count von Bruno (Stephen McNally). Posing as Richard Beckett,

The Vampire Collection – Movie Review:

While these films have been released on DVD previously (the first by Mondo Macabro on a PAL disc for the European market, the second in a shoddy unauthorized release from Beverly Whilshire Filmworks), this two disc set from Casa Negra marks the first time that El Vampiro (a.k.a. Ultraman Ace: The Complete Series – Movie Review:

Tsuburaya Productions’ five Ultraman series ran from April 8, 1972 through March 31, 1973 and lasted fifty-two episodes in total and it took the series in a different direction than the four runs that came before it. Whereas those earlier Ultraman series weren’t necessarily straight superhero action, working in elements of pure science fiction, fantasy and even light horror, Ultraman Ace definitely is.

    Zombie – Movie Review:

One of the most enduringly popular Italian horror films of all time, Lucio Fulci’s 1979 take on the living dead begins when a seemingly empty boat floats into a harbor near New York City. Some harbor patrol officers board the boat and find that it’s not empty at all when a zombie pops out of the bottom and rips one pour sod’s throat out. The other cop opens fire and the corpse falls into the bay. An incident as unusual as this is bound to attract some attention and so it does in the form of a reporter named Peter West (Ian McCulloch) who winds up meeting and then teaming up with Ann Bowles (Tisa Farrow of Anthropophagous), the daughter of the man who owned the boat in question. She hasn’t heard from her father in far too long and the last she heard he was living on a remote Caribbean island called Matoul.

Figuring there may be more to this, Peter decides to accompany Ann on a trip to Matoul to find out what happened to her dad. The pair hires
