I Spit On Your Grave: Deja Vu

Camille Keaton is getting back in front of the camera.

    Meir Zarchi is directing.

    Huh.

"Following her brutal rape, Jennifer wrote a best-selling account of her ordeal and of the controversial trial in which she was accused of taking the law into her own hands and ruthlessly killing her assailants. In the small town where the rape and revenge took place, the relatives of the four rapists she killed are furious that the court declared her not guilty and resolve to take justice into their own hands."

    Whaaaaatttttttt?

It might be better than part 3 (in the remake series) but still.

Where the hell did this come from? I'll try to keep an open mind, but this does not feel like a good idea to be honest.
Looking for Orozco the Embalmer (Camera Obscura) and the Swedish theatrical poster of Breaking Point (Vibenius/"Ron Silberman Jr.", 1975).

Hah...I actually liked I SPIT ON YOUR DEATH WISH (as part 3 should have been called)

This seems like a bad idea....but I am intrigued at the same time....

Meir Zarchi directed a grand total of two films. And Don't Mess With My Sister is passable, it's basically a Lifetime TV movie told from the male perspective.

I don't know. This will probably suck. But who knows. I honestly believe that I Spit On Your Grave was a "The planets have aligned" Kind of situation where all the pieces (sans Matthew) fit.

I agree too....definitely a product of its time and of everything miraculously working (sans Matthew)..

Not sure he will be able to recreate that process...and have a feeling this may turn out to be a shitty digital-shit-on-the-cheap waste..

This is unexpected. I don't even know what to say.

Well, that's two films that he admits to.

Oh, he directed porn or something? It seems like all low budget genre filmmakers in the 70's had a hand in porn at some point or other.

Not just low budget filmmakers, many went on to high budget films in various jobs. It was a great training ground.
