    RIP Kenny Rogers :(

He was my first favorite singer as a kid. Sad.

I liked those Mad TV sketches:

"Ah! By god's balls what licentiousness!"

Marquis de Sade, The 120 Days of Sodom.

    Appropriate!
Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

R.I.P. KENNY ROGERS. I can't say I was ever much of a fan, but, he was always an easy presence on TV or on the radio, and he certainly made a lot of people happy. A pretty great legacy.

He founded the Kenny Rogers Roasters - a Chicken chain, of course. I remember he was on Letterman once, and David did a 'blind taste test' with several store bought chickens -- and Kenny couldn't name HIS chicken out of the three! All good-natured, of course.

One of the funniest episodes of SEINFELD was based on Kenny Rogers Roasters.

Kramer: Roger's can't sell chicken around here, we got chicken places on
    every block.
    Jerry: He is the gambler.

He was a singer that I heard so much as a kid cause both my parents are huge fans. There is 4 or 5 songs of his I enjoy. The rest just too bland for my taste. But he was huge for what 15 years at least.
