88 Films Releasing Seven Deaths In The Cat's Eye

    From FB:

For this Friday's announcement (#3) we've come down with a bit of Giallo Fever.....
Presented in a brand new 2k restoration from the Original Negative in 88 Films' Italian Collection is Seven Deaths in the Cat's Eye.
In a small Scottish village, horribly murdered bodies keep turning up. Suspicion falls upon the residents of a nearby castle that is haunted by a curse involving a killer cat....
Directed by Antonio Margheriti this Blu-ray and DVD release will land some time in late Q3, or early Q4.
Stay tuned for next Fridays announcement which may possibly be a bit of a Cannon Classic.....

Not seen this one yet, but I'm partial to a bit of Margheriti. Must get round to watching those German releases of his 80's action flicks I've got sitting around.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

This is a good gothic murder mystery. Own the Blue Underground DVD, won't upgrade unless it's a superb release.

Hope it's a better transfer. The 88Films version is far too dark.

It's available now, the commentary by Troy Howarth looks to have been ported over.

Has anyone picked up the Twilight Time bd and compared it to the 88 bd?

I haven't done a comparison, but the Twilight Time release is dark too.
