Were they? I haven't seen anything post 1988 in a long while. I only ever kept Tender Flesh, Lust for Frankenstein and Snakewoman from Jess' One Shot period. I still haven't had a chance to check out any of the Crypt movies, either. Wait, I guess this should be on the Franco thread.

Yeah, my fault for sending this off topic.

Regardless, again, I hope Jodo gets to finish the run. He's not getting any younger.

I've just finished Endless Poetry and I think it's my favorite film of the past year. Another winner from our man Jodorowksy. Has anyone heard about him making progress towards his next film?

Haven't heard/read anything myself, but when this played Cannes last year he expressed interest in finally making Son of El Topo if he can get the funds. I still want him to do the movie version of Genesis' The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.

I do remember reading that somewhere. I'm split; I really can't decide if I'd rather he does the El Topo sequel or continue on with the next film in the current series.

I have loved the two movies in this series, and feel good I was able to see a Jodorowsky at the cinema as I did with Endless Poetry. Stunning piece of art.

If Jodoorowky finishes another film would you prefer another in the new series or The Sons of El Topo?

I would prefer Sons of El Topo.

I think I'd like another in the same series but either would be great. I know the clocks ticking, so I'll take anything!!
