Mark Frost's The Secret History Of Twin Peaks

    Hmmm......

    www.thesecrethistoryoftwinpeaks.com

    From Bleeding Cool:

"Flatiron Books has released a new teaser (via Welcome to Twin Peaks) for the upcoming novel, The Secret History of Twin Peaks by series co-creator Mark Frost. The video offers tantalizing glimpses into the world of the series via items like a postcard from Norma Jennings detailing a trip she and Hank took to Hollywood (or, really, Burbank), a intake form concerning the Log Lady’s stay in a hospital following a night in the woods and Gordon Cole’s recent memo to Special Agent [redacted] about a crime scene with ties to the Laura Palmer case. It’s all very keeping in the spirit of Twin Peaks."

Is this a tie in with the new series? Will buy regardless, still have The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer proudly on the shelf.

Yep,I am gonna pre-order this new book. Got both Secret Diary of Laura Palmer and the Agent Cooper books. Might still have two copies of the diary.

Did anyone else have Cooper's Diane tapes? I wish I still had mine.

Got this last night as an early birthday gift from Alison. Haven't had time to start reading it yet but the book itself is absolutely beautiful. Great paperstock, beautiful embossment on the dust jacket and debossment on the cover itself. It just feels really nice in your hands. Can't wait to dig into this.

It is a beautiful book. Last year when I got the book I had to travel for work and an associate randomly took me to see Chief Joseph's grave. The next day I was reading the book and Chief Joseph showed up for a chapter. That was cool/spooky.

The way this is laid out is pretty crazy. I keep getting into the text 'or dossier' proper and forgetting that the annotation outside the margins is equally important. I also find that I'm reading it really slowly because part of my brain is convinced that this book should be used more as a source for 'clues' than simply just read and enjoyed (which is the wrong way of thinking).

I über geeked and bought the CD version as well. It's a good recording and because of the way the book is presented it actually works pretty well to listen and follow along with the book at the same time.
