I just rewatched the first 5 seasons to get ready for season 6. I assume it is coming out in June like it does most years.

Amanda Fuller is the goddam worst, next to that Crazy Eyes.

Forgot this premiered a few days ago. 2 episodes in and it is good so far. Trying to avoid spoilers and all . But hoping a few of my favorite cast are back.

I'll avoid spoilers in this, and just say that it was nice to see this show pick it up this season. Really enjoyed it, outside of a stupid first episode that focused on Crazy Eyes and her stupid hallucinations. I really don't like her character, enough that I generally reach for the FF button when I see her doing her one-note schtick. That aside, I also found Amanda Fuller to be annoying as fuck.

Those two nitpicks aside, it was amazing how much social commentary they managed to pack into this that reflected current events, but in a way that didn't feel heavy-handed or get cliche. I loved the storyline involving the two sisters and some of the flashback segments, as well as the fleshing out of some past characters that felt largely glossed over.

I don't mind Suzanne. She creeped me out in the first season. I found the first season so unnerving because I didn't know what characters would do and how messed up the show might get. Now that I know the characters I just enjoy it. But yeah, Suzanne doesn't bother me. I hated Doggett in the beginning but grew to like her a lot as the series progressed. I like Mendoza and Black Cindy a lot too. And Taystee.
