Lars Von Trier's The House That Jack Built

    This could be interesting.

"Three years ago, Lars Von Trier released his five-hour drama “Nymphomaniac,” about a woman who recounts her erotic experiences to a man who saved her from a beating, to great critical acclaim. Now, he returns with a new film “The House That Jack Built,” which follows highly-intelligent serial killer Jack over a span of 12 years as we see the murders that define his development, and how he views his murders as artwork itself. Deadline reports that Von Trier has cast actor Matt Dillon as Jack alongside the previously announced Bruno Ganz."

Another vital character in the film, the mysterious Verge, is played by Swiss actor Bruno Ganz. Asked if they can expand on the relationship between Jack and Verge, both Lars von Trier and Matt Dillon says that they cant.

Except that he is one of my favourite actors for a very a long time, Dillon says, before von Trier makes one of those remarks, that has gotten him into trouble before.

    Didnt he play Hitler?

Everybody laughs, and then producer Louise Vesth says, only half joking, dont go there.

Lars is looking pretty rough these days. I hadn't seen what he looked like in a few years.
