So apparently Marins made a new short film called Coffin Joe Born Again and it's debuting at Phil Anselmo's Housecore Horror Festival in Texas next week.

So a torrent popped up for this one, his feature directorial debut - a western from 1958 called A Sina do Aventureiro.

Looks like it got a Brazilian DVD release but it has no subs unfortunately so I haven't bothered with it. I'd gladly buy it, or any of the of the other Marins films that haven't seen Eng. friendly releases yet, if they actually existed. Sadly, they don't.

First time hearing about this. From what I've seen it looks like it's a short that has a bunch of unseen footage from the older films with some new wrap-around footage of Marins.

Has anybody seen his bestiality film? I've searched with no luck.

The IMDB reviews of both 24hrs of Sex & it's sequel mention that the bestiality is fake/implicit.

Got inspired by reading about the upcoming DVD releases from Synapse, and decided I wanted to get some of the other films, too. I only own the old US box from Fantoma.

Do anyone know what's best to get? I seem to recall there was some issue with 2009 box from Anchor Bay UK?

There is also the Brazilian box set, or rather there appears to be at least two - a cardboard box with separate keepcases inside and another release in a digipak. The latter claims to be "remastered". (There's also a version in a cardboard coffin, but it looks like it just has the digipak inside). Does anyone know whether there are any differences between the two Brazilian sets? Is one better than the other (i.e. is the one actually remastered compared to the other, or are they just the same transfers)?

I have the Brazilian set that is the cardboard box with the separate keepcases. In fact I reviewed it at AVM years ago, but the review archive over there is fucked so you can't see it. I could dig it up though and, time permitting, add some caps for it. It's a good set, lots of extras (though most aren't subbed) but I have no idea if the transfers are any different than the digipack version. They were about on par with the Fantoma set as I recall (which I sold off after getting the Brazilian set as I didn't really need it anymore and it took up a lot of space).

I watched The Strange World... last night. I have the single disc & the coffin box. I think I'll pull out the other films & watch them over the next few nights. I love the crazy musique concrete-style soundtracks! I can't tell what sounds are intentional & what's just fucked up.

Disappointing. I like thinking he did a real one.

It would make sense in context because the greatest producer of bestiality/Zoo porn in the world now is Brazil. Series like the notorious 'Animal Passion' and comically-titled 'Mr. Dog' are from Brazil.

In fact, the infamous 'Three Girls One Cup' scat video is taken from a Brazilian feature; the 'Cup' clip is just a segment from it: nothing unusual at all in this genre.

You know, I have never seen 'Three Girls, One Cup' nor have I read a full description of the action. I've just seen the title all over the place.

I remember there was a company like MVP or something like that which was dog & scat dvds from Brazil but that was a handful of years ago.
