After a devastating nuclear war life the remains of the civilization in the ruins of the major cities. There are strict laws and the military developing artificial life forms to "population control". Looks great indeed. It's a wonderful film as well. The question is if I like it enough to spend probably like €30-40 to buy it on bluray for the second time. Had I not already had the short films on the Dust Devil release from Subversive and the old UK blu of Hardware, I wouldn't have hesitated though.

I thought Dust Devil was good and I think Richard Stanley is a very interesting dude. But I thought Hardware was just "okay." It's not bad but once the carnage starts, it just feels rushed and lacks tension. It has some good gore at least.
