    Indeed!

I finally watched all four episodes. Gotta say it felt like a chore. Some scenes were great but on the whole I can't get into it. I can appreciate what they're trying to do but it just drags in spots. That scene at the casino went on forever. Can't help but think that some network studio notes might've helped shore it up.

I wasn't big on the length of that scene either, Scott. A couple cuts might not have hurt. Still, odd as it seems, a second viewing didn't seem as long....wondering if my initial expectations were something along the lines of the original show.

Yeah I'm probably going to hang with it just out of curiosity. I don't hate it, just not thrilled with watching baby Cooper re-learn everything. Maybe he'll get zapped by lighting and it will all come back to him. I'm sure once they actually get back to Twin Peaks I'll like it more. You're spot on about my expectations regarding the original show. Similar to FWWM. I like it, but I don't love it and find comfort in it the way I do with the original series. And I chalk that up to it being on a network and the expectations of it being a grounded soap opera with subtle weird stuff going on. This is full on cartooney. Every scene is the weird stuff. Not that there's anything wrong with that, most of it is really great! But I could use more of that charming Twin Peaks character and less of the meandering lady with the dog and rednecks that ask the same questions 20 times over.

It's definitely frustrating for me in spots as well....baby Cooper is another one. I do LOVE FWWM,though. Deeply.

We just watched episode 3. Damn that was fun. Loved the cameo from Eugene from Walking Dead. Was going into it expecting to hate baby Cooper. But it didn't bother me.

c'mon guys! special retard "mr. jackpots" is awesome and kyle maclachlan can really pull it off (no pun intended).

I love how david lynch is torturing the impatient viewers, that michael cera cameo on the other hand ... yikes!

So, further to my comments on the connection between the glass box room and the room with the outlet, this is pretty fucking marvelous....

Sometimes, a shovel is just a shovel.

Really liked the 5th episode, great to see so many characters in one shot.

I thought it was good and the Jacoby bits were great. Odd that so little of it actually took place in Twin Peaks though. Much less bizarre and surreal than the first four.
    Rock! Shock! Pop!
