Hope it's as good as the last one. That is one weird ass cover...cool though.
I don't go to church. Kneeling bags my nylons.

Another new one, "The Sunless Years". Sounds great per usual. Production seems similar to De Vermis Mysteriis without sounding like a carbon copy which is a good thing as that album demolished. So fierce. Actually its become my favorite albums of theirs although their consistency is pretty staggering.

Anyone else loving this? Definitely an album of the year candidate. Simply ferocious. Another excellent production job via Kurt Ballou. Pike's guitar tone will fuck you up.

Yeah, this is seriously good shit.

They played here over the weekend. I didn't go but I saw pictures and Matt Pike is starting to look like Jake The Snake Roberts.

He'll probably start to talk like Jake the Snake at some point. Its a miracle he hasn't blown his voice out yet. His vocals are the harshest they've ever been. There are some really righteous screams on the new album. The one he lets out near the end of the title track is nasty.

Caught them on the latest tour. Good show. Pike is looking pretty saggy and road worn, but still brings the rock. He also has a rad Chuck Bronson tat inside his left arm.
