I really did not like Noah. I'm pretty neutral in regards to Black Swan. I may need to re-watch that one even though I think Natalie Portman hurts the film quite a bit. Mila Kunis (who is admittedly not a good actress) was tolerable in that film.
I love Requiem For a Dream, The Wrestler and The Fountain.

That does look exciting. Aronofsky's films have never really wowed me though. He's one of those technically competent directors whose films hold a lot more promise than what they actually deliver. The last film I saw of his was The Black Swan I think, and it's a good, enjoyable movie, but nothing really memorable. I felt the Polanski influence there as well, and this latest effort, as you have already noted, also seems to channel Polanski's women on the verge of psychosis theme. Looking forward to it.
