Andy Kaufman and his manager/friend Bob Zmuda used to like to go to the grindhouse theaters in NYC and check out the slasher movies. Whenever a woman was getting killed they would yell from the back of the theater "Cut her titties off!" and shit like that. I like to think one of the movies they watched was this one.
I watched Death Dorm a few nights ago. I wish I had watched it during October. It's a good one; the final murder is pretty brutal despite nothing is shown.

I'm glad you mentioned this. It compelled me to pick up the entire SPECIES series and watch them in Oct. I always loved the original and still do but was shocked by how much I enjoyed part 2. It amazing to see a film with that much effort/money put into special effects be so OTT sleazy. Its a hoot. If you have Shout's BD check out the interview with the screenwriter. He tells a hilarious story about the incredibly stupid final seconds of the film.

SPECIES 3 isn't good but I've sat through worse.

I'm almost embarrassed to say I enjoyed SPECIES 4 almost as much as SPECIES 2. It doesn't have near the budget but its filled with some really cool moments. 5 years ago I couldn't have told you who Ben Cross is, but recently I've discovered that whenever I see his name in the opening titles, no matter what cheap DTV trash I'm watching is likely going to blow away my expectations.

That and Michael Madsen's performance or lack thereof is always amusing. It's obvious that he did not give one fuck.

I've never seen SPECIES 2. Thanks for the recommendation! Does Natasha H. get naked in it?
