One Dark Night: meh. Starts out pretty well but I found it very uneventful.

Ghostkeeper (1981): I couldn't find a trailer so instead I'll post this alternate opening. I liked this one. Very good Canuckian horror. I would suggest it's a minor classic.

Bugcrush. It's a short that got Carter Smith his first gig featuring directing features when Spielberg saw it and hired him for The Ruins. I first saw this about ten years at a festival. I was loving it and then the DVD failed a few minutes before the end and no amount of buffing it or blowing into the player could bring it back to life. Which was frustrating particularly as at the time I couldn't find another copy anywhere. God bless Cinemaggedon. Finally got to see the end last night. The very end, which it turns out is all I had missed, turns out not to be the strongest part of the film but still this is a really great, gross short. Kind of Cronenbergian body horror mixed with teenages angst drama. Recommended for those with little time and a desire for something different.
