    No details or release date yet, but here is the announcement of them picking up the film

    That's excellent news. I had been wondering about the film & when it'd get a bd release.

    I haven't watched the dvd in a very long time but there's two endings and one of them had barely ever been seen before?

    Yes the German one has been on the cards for a while. Sadly no english which is why im really pleased theres going to be a USA one. Hoping Eureka or Arrow will release it in UK eventually but dont know if previous spaghetti westerns have done too good for them.

    the "happy ending" has no sound and its shit. maybe they will include as an extra who knows.

    I thought it was the other way around; the unhappy ending was what had not been seen..

    No, the downbeat ending is the one which was the most widely seen. I think Alex Cox (on Moviedrome or the Fantomas DVD interview?) claimed that the alternate 'happy' ending was shot for inclusion in prints shown in Africa and a few other territories.
