He was? That's odd. I haven't seen those in ages though, my memory is definitely foggy in the Brady Bunch dept.

Yeah, Greg/Bobby/Peter return the 'bad luck tiki' back to the ancient burial grounds/cave. Vincent is there and he takes them hostage, and he carries on conversations with a big tiki statue he calls Oliver!

I don't recall my first exposure to VP but it may have been an early 60's tv run of House On Haunted Hill. Of course he played Egghead on the Batman tv series which was cool. My first "at the movies" experience had to be the triple feature of The Raven, Tales Of Terror and Pit And The Pendulum.

My first was Diary of a Madman, shown on TV. It scared the HELL out of me. I think that I was about 5 or 6 years old....

I forgot all about this. I'm still certain I saw The Fly or Frightenstein first, but Batman would have been around the same time for me as it remember it being in re-runs constantly as a kid and also both my grandfather and my dad dug the show, so it was on in the house a lot growing up.

A comment in that same thread says there's a remastered UK release coming 9/17 with a commentary. All that shows up on Amazon.co.uk though is a DVD release with that release date.

I've heard that LONG SHADOWS is terrible, but I don't know how it can be with all that talent. I remember seeing a trailer for it on TV, scared the crap outta me.
