    Candice Rialson Double Feature

Anyone seen this? I have one coming, and have low expectations.
Alpha Blue 2017 release on DVD, I'll likely regret wasting $$ on these but curiosity got the best of me.

Curious when you get it how Pets shapes up. If I had to guess I'd say ABA probably stole Code Red's transfer or ripped a VHS tape but a fair amount of their recent titles have been film sourced, if hardly restored in any way.

DVD arrived, PETS is the source they issued on VHS, which they transferred themselves.
This DVD looks better than I remembered the VHS looking ( still not great ).

Definitely not the old VHS pre record from a clean source, this has boatloads of film damage, almost no opening credits
and some material not present on the CR disc ( due to print damage on their source ).

MAMA'S DIRTY GIRLS seems ripped straight from VHS, but watching the opening scene again reminded me we need this film on Blu badly.

Thanks, I'll probably wait in hopes of another (better) release down the road as I always have the CR Pets and a VHS rip of MDG.

It's a shame that all versions of PETS is damaged or in not so perfect condition. Honestly what would you expect from Alpha blue, It's interesting that they are still around though.

Their quality has improved slightly on certain releases in the last couple of years. Still nothing compared to what we get from VS or Distribpix but a few of the more recent discs I've watched (and reviewed) have at least used some okay looking film sourced transfers.
