I don't really know much about that one but the cover is good stuff and 'trashy blood & boobs' is always good.

It was kind of like an Aussie cash-in on the Halloween/Friday the 13th craze, but with lots more T & A and set around someone bumping off the members of a theatre troupe. It's an old favourite of mine. One day I'll pick up the Aussie DVD, as it's always a frequenter of the bargain bins.

In other exciting Aussie exploitation news, the quintessential Aussie sex comedy Alvin Purple has just been re-released here! W00t!

If you ever want to see one of our "classic" drive-in flicks, and seventies cultural icon, this is one to get.

Ian, you'll remember NIGHTMARES as the movie in NOT QUITE HOLLYWOOD where the killer slashes the girl's naked and bodacious buttocks.

You're right, I do remember that. And now we get to see the buttocks slashing in all its glory.

Just by way of comparison, the (uncut*) Aussie DVD features the following:

-Brand new 16:9 master (ratio 2.35:1)
-Confessions of an R-rated filmmaker - an interview featurette with John D. Lamond
    -Stills and poster gallery
    -John D. Lamond trailer reel

    * oddly, the film was always uncut here in Oz.
