I received my copy today, but forgot to look for the film. Where was it in the box — just tossed in? Or is it placed in the book?

The film cells are in the book.

I watched it last night. All of it felt familiar so, I guess, I've seen the uncut film. What was cut for the Troma version? I think I read it was violence but seems like it would be all the walking around or standing in line outdoors...

The Troma cut has a more grindhouse-style opening credits sequence and is faster paced, cutting out a lot of the walking around footage. I think it's around 10 minutes shorter. It was cut for violence for the Prism VHS release, but all (most?) of the gore was re-instated for the "Troma Collector's Series" VHS and subsequent DVD releases. The "Tromasterpiece" DVD has both cuts and most of the special features included on the Severin blu.

The Troma cut is missing a few key scenes like the baby being put in the oven and Franky drinking the milk.
