Thread: Brooklyn - HBO's Watchmen Series

Who's defending it? Most people here would just like the opportunity to find it out for themselves.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

    What?

Who here has defended it? (answer: no one).

Since you hate Lindelof (and this series) so much, why do you continue to watch? Are you a masochist?

More importantly, why do you keep trolling this thread?

    Yeah, deep breaths Alex.

Here's some test footage from 2003 that shows Ray Stevenson as Rorschach.

Episode 7 gives new meaning to the phrase, "Let's talk about the elephant in the room."

And let's give it up to Trent Reznor for that lovely, ethereal version of David Bowie's Life On Mars that played over the closing credits.

So. I'm nervous about the finale. I really, REALLY hope Lindelof sticks the landing. As far as his prior series go, he's batting .500 -- Nay for L O S T, but yay for The Leftovers. Last week's penultimate episode of Watchmen (my favorite of the season) answered a LOT of questions, but I just don't know how he's going to wrap everything else up in a single episode.

    * please please please stick the landing *

Loved the finale, although it could have easily been stretched over two episodes. Due to the amount of information delivered, there was no way for the pacing not to suffer a bit. Makes the inevitable rewatch(es) even more enjoyable,

Overall, such a good series. I'm torn on whether this should be a standalone series or get s second season. Fade to black...

Lindelof told USA TODAY this week that he's told the story he wants to tell and has no interest in a second season... Sorry, fans, but the season-ending cliffhanger will likely never be resolved.
The complete story he wanted to tell had an unresolved cliffhanger?

They're just trying to save face instead of disclosing the poor ratings and viewer reception.
