It's an odd show. Having the friends sit around gives it all an awkward AA meeting vibe. Cringey and uncomfortable. Then on top of that it really does feel exploitative. The first episode features a pretty good ghost story but the guy telling it is so obviously traumatized that all the fun gets sucked out of it. It feels more like he's telling friends about his schizophrenia condition than a ghost story. The other stories so far aren't as good. If there's a lick of truth to the second the woman spinning it should be telling it to the FBI rather than Netflix.

If they were telling the stories straight to camera here it might work but the constant cut aways to friends and family looking uncomfortable just makes it unpleasant.
